ABOUT our FIRM

For over 30 years, Moore Architects, PC has been able to provide innovative designs, suited perfectly for our clients’ needs. We are a full-service architectural firm, working in all stages of the process from schematic design through construction drawings and construction administration. The Moore Architects team can provide a hands-on approach to the entire development of architecture and design, including interiors. We are predominately a residential practice, concentrating on custom homes, full home renovations/additions, and historic preservation projects.

Moore Architects, PC has worked on well over 400 residential projects throughout the Northern Virginia area (Falls Church, Arlington, Alexandria, Great Falls, etc.) Washington, DC and Maryland. However, we have completed work in several states across the country: North Carolina, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Indiana, Michigan, Texas, Oregon, Florida, and California. As an award-winning firm, we are committed to designing high quality residential homes throughout the DC Metro Area and beyond.

The Moore Architects, PC story began when Virginia Tech grad, Charles Moore, started in 1989. In 2002, the firm established the name Moore Architects, and has grown to an 8-person firm, currently located and settled in the City of Falls Church, Virginia.

We produce remarkable designs for our clients that have received numerous awards from the American Institute of Architects (Washington, D.C. Chapter, Northern Virginia Chapter and Virginia Society), the Washington Architectural Foundation, the Arlington County Preservation Design Awards Program, Spaces Magazine, Fine Homebuilding Magazine, Southern Living Magazine, Builder Magazine, Remodeling Magazine, Custom Home Magazine, and more. 

Moore Architects, PC has been published as one of the top architects in Home Magazine, Luxe Magazine, Spaces Magazine, Cottage Living Magazine, Fine Homebuilding Magazine, Architectural Digest, Southern Living Magazine, Washingtonian Magazine, The Washington Post and INFORM Magazine. We also have projects featured on HGTV’s programs, “Dream Home” and “What You Get For The Money.”
